Peruzzi teases a new single ahead of album release

If the last you heard of him was when he slapped a popular influencer for ‘disrespecting’ him online, perhaps this news might just give you something else to associate with the controversial singer.

Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi, took to Twitter to announce the release of his new album titled GAZA.The release will be his fourth body of work in 2 years and his second this year. He had released a playlist titled, ‘3 EP (A Playlist by Huncho) in the first quarter of 2020.

Quoting a tweet of his from March 20, 2019 where he teased his fans to a song they immediately loved – but which he did not then include in his 2019 release ‘Huncho Vibes’ Vol. 1 – the ‘Amaka’ crooner tweeted simply, “March 20, 2019. Now it’s on the album 💜” The album he makes reference to is GAZA.

The album had initially been slated to drop on the 4th of September 2020. The late release may have helped increase the buzz among fans. It could also be that fans are so excited because with every new body of work, Peruzzi appears to be getting better at what he does.

From his debut EP in 2018, ‘Heartwork,’ to his follow up offering in 2019, ‘Huncho Vibez’ Vol. Then his 3 EP in the first quarter of 2020, every release had unveiled the artist a bit more for his fans to experience his versatility.

The latest album features industry giant, Olamide. And is one of the most anticipated albums out this month.
